The road will be closed to all traffic between sunset to early the next morning, so you can party the night away – literally!

Join The Fun At Patong Beach

At Patong Beach, the larger nightclubs will be flying in a slew of famous international DJs to host the evening. If you are looking to enjoy good music with good drinks, we recommend partying at Illuzion, The White Room, Hollywood Planet and Barfunk. Make sure you arrive early to secure a table, as the nightclubs and bars will be packed on New Year's Eve. Also, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes as you wouldn’t want to start the year off with sore feet!

Head To Paradise Beach

For those looking to join a beach party under a blanket of stars, Paradise Beach is the place to go. The beach hosts a full moon party every month of the year, so they definitely know how to throw a party! If you want to spend New Year’s Eve at Patong’s Paradise Beach, make sure you buy your tickets in advance, as they’ll be going fast the closer to New Year’s Eve we get.

There are shuttle buses in front of Jungceylon Shopping Mall, located at the top of Bangla Road, that will take you out to the beach on New Year's Eve. We highly suggest taking the shuttle bus, as the beach is not within walking distance and many other forms of transportation, such as taxis and tuk-tuks will likely be charging a premium fare to due high demand.
